4. Party Rock Anthem
Characters: Party People
Content: Bolin hosts a block party in Twilight Town. Food, fun, and partying! Whoo!
Location (including world): Twilight Town, The Sandlot
Time of Day: Late afternoon and into the night
Warnings: Excessive partying?
Notes: Feel free to start your own sub-threads, thread-jack, and just have fun. Open free for all is the style for threading.
Bolin, with the help of Spirits, Moogles, and various other people had finally finished setting up the party. There were tables laden with different kinds of food of course and decorations everywhere. They'd made sure to clear a space for dancing and Perry the Platypus had volunteered to DJ with some equipment borrowed from the moogles for the night. Bolin wished there could be more people so they could have games and stuff like a proper street festival...but for what he had he felt it was pretty good.
Now they just needed people to show up for the fun.

The other booth, manned by a very brave Steven, is a goldfish bowl game. The object is simple: toss a ping pong ball into a goldfish bowl, win the contents. Instead of goldfish, however, these bowls have dream pieces floating in the water, enough to make a specific Spirit - you won't know what until you win it. The bowl in the dead center of the table has a much smaller neck, and the dream pieces in it probably don't look very similar to the ones the local Nightmares are dropping.
Step right up! It's two munny per toss and the prizes are good.
[Mods will determine prizes randomly, and yes, there is something rare and fun in the middle there. Good luck!]

Dream pieces generally didn't interest him that much. Another Spirit generally meat another handful to deal with. But these ones looked different than the ones he was used to. What could they make instead?
Maybe it was worth a try. Nothing else he might be able to sell the parts for later if he won. Two munny ain't much either.

She fishes out he munny and slaps it down in front of Steven. Look out, pal, she's going to try and wipe you clean if you let her stay here long enough.

Edge flipped his cape back dramatically as he approached the booth, a wicked glint in his eye.
"You weren't prepared for a master ninja to appear at your booth. I'll show you throwing like you've never seen!"

She walked up to Steven and offered the two munny, then stepped back so that she was in front of the bowls. She gave him a quick bark. If he could just toss the ball to her first, she had her own ways of tossing it at the bowls.

He also realized rather quickly that the dream pieces in the center bowl were rare ones and he had plenty of munny to try for it.
At only two munny per try, the only thing keeping him from spending the whole party here was that he wanted to get around and talk to people, too.He liked to think his aim was pretty good, but luck was a factor too and he knew it.(no subject)

Bolin was glad the Moogles were so glad to help and even going so far as to bring games like this was just excellent. Bolin dug into his pockets and produced two munny, "Here."

Perry pulled Moe back from the booth and then produced munny for three tries. There. See Moe? He'll play and then maybe you'll calm down. Moe seemed satisfied for now and sat back on his rump to watch.

Or, rather, it got Dax's attention, as one mis-aimed ball ricochetted off the table and knocked his hat clear off. There was a squark of protest, before the hebby repp made unhappy noises - was his hat ruined? Oh no, it dropped, Perssssoooooon! - and Carolina crouched briefly to pick it up and dust it off. And collected the ball while she was at it. Rolling it between her fingers, the redhaired woman approached the table, her unhappy dream eater rumbling at her side.
"I think this is one of yours," the ball was extended to Steven. Carolina rather hoped not being in armor today would make the moogles less nervous of her, regardless of the apologies already given.

What could it hurt? And maybe the moogle would realize not all people in armor were aggressive to moogles.

Tony growls at the bat, but after taking a closer look at the game himself, he realizes this is a fantastic idea and reaches up to scritch the obnoxious Dingbat.
"Nice work, buddy. Alright, Steve, my friend, what's your angle?"

Stars chittered and swooped around Lea's head in apparent agreement, and Lea nodded politely to Steven and offered over four munny. "Hey, nice game. Stars might actually leave me alone about needing a friend after this."

Five tries, and then she'd still have some munny left over for maybe some balloons or something like that.

Sadly though he never had luck at those sorts of games, but that sure didn't stop Pin from dragging him over. This looked like fun!
"B-but I'm not-!" too late, Pin already squeaked at the Moogle to get its attention. "... Alright, I'll give it a try."
He did have a little bit of extra munny anyway.

"Whaddya think?" she asked, looking to Nicko, "Shall we get you a friend?"
Nicko just looked up at her, swaying his tail back and forth. He still wanted another cookie. Liz just shook her head, plucking a few munny out of her pocket and approaching the Moogle.
"I'm in."
