Bolin, with the help of Spirits, Moogles, and various other people had finally finished setting up the party. There were tables laden with different kinds of food of course and decorations everywhere. They'd made sure to clear a space for dancing and Perry the Platypus had volunteered to DJ with some equipment borrowed from the moogles for the night. Bolin wished there could be more people so they could have games and stuff like a proper street festival...but for what he had he felt it was pretty good.

Now they just needed people to show up for the fun.

Lea groaned. "We ended up with one anyway."

Stars was chittering in a way that was clearly laughter, flying around and doing flips in the air. They'd have a thunderaffe friend anyway and a meow wow friend too! She landed on Lea's shoulder and chittered at him.

"Yeah, yeah, I know, you won," Lea sighed. He reached up to scritch Stars anyway. He couldn't really stay mad at her.

"Thunderaffes aren't so bad, kupo," Steven told him. "Just don't race 'em. Wanna play again, kupo?"

"Sounds good," Lea said. He put down some more munny for both of them. At least they could give this another shot. He'd have a menagerie if they both kept winning, though.

Steven handed the balls over. "Here you go, kupo."

Lea took both balls and tossed them himself. Hopefully he'd get the big prize...and not another thunderaffe; what would he do with two of them? Stars chittered at him; clearly she wanted another chance as well, but Lea waited to see what he'd get this time first.

One of the balls bounced off the first thing it hit and completely out of the game area. The other got wedged between two bowls and stayed there. Steven shook his head at Lea. "Sorry, not this time, kupo."

Lea made a face. "Yeah, yeah, great." He put down some more money. "Okay, two chances for Stars, and then I walk away. If she didn't get anything this time, they'd make do with their two new best friends. It wasn't too bad, anyway; a meow wow would be a boost to their healing abilities.

"It's your munny, kupo!" Steven took the munny without complaint, though, and handed two balls over to Stars. "Just remember that you have to stay where you are," the moogle said to Stars. "No flying over the table!"

Stars ignored this comment as clearly beneath her notice and tossed both balls at once. Lea laughed. "You're pretty excited about this, aren't you?" Maybe they'd have to play catch or something in the future.

Both of the shots went into bowls. "She's pretty good, kupo. Maybe you should have had her throw all of them." Steven pulled out the pieces and gave them to Lea. "That's a Tama Sheep and a Cyber Yog, kupo."

"...fine, two more shots." Lea pulled out the munny. He'd have to hunt more nightmares after this to make up for spending stuff on the game, but maybe the moogle was right. He was definitely going to stop after these two though, no matter what the moogle said.

"You're the boss, kupo!" Steven handed over two more balls.

Lea handed the balls over to Stars to throw again. Stars took more time this time, throwing one after the other and clearly aiming for the bowl in the middle.

One of the balls flew wide, but the other landed just next to the center bowl. "That was really close, kupo!" Steven gathered up the pieces and handed them over. "It's a pricklemane. Are you sure you don't want to try again?"

Lea made a face. "I'm sure. Thanks, though; that was fun." Lea gestured to Stars and headed off, back towards the food.
