4. Party Rock Anthem
Characters: Party People
Content: Bolin hosts a block party in Twilight Town. Food, fun, and partying! Whoo!
Location (including world): Twilight Town, The Sandlot
Time of Day: Late afternoon and into the night
Warnings: Excessive partying?
Notes: Feel free to start your own sub-threads, thread-jack, and just have fun. Open free for all is the style for threading.
Bolin, with the help of Spirits, Moogles, and various other people had finally finished setting up the party. There were tables laden with different kinds of food of course and decorations everywhere. They'd made sure to clear a space for dancing and Perry the Platypus had volunteered to DJ with some equipment borrowed from the moogles for the night. Bolin wished there could be more people so they could have games and stuff like a proper street festival...but for what he had he felt it was pretty good.
Now they just needed people to show up for the fun.

Once the Moogle had given him three balls, he tossed them one after another at that center bowl. It had worked so well last time - may as well try it again.

He blinked, very carefully didn't shrug so as to not dislodge his cat, and placed six more munny on the table. "Sure." He picked up the three resulting balls and offered them to his Spirits. Fang clutched one in his claws, careful not to hover any closer to the table when he tossed it - he knew the rules! Melody picked one up carefully in her forepaws and lobbed it at the table. Wash tossed the third ball, not expecting much more from this throw than he'd gotten from his other attempts.

Wash gave him a very flat look, then turned back to Steven. "If I give you some munny, can he play on his own? He'll behave." The last two words were addressed to Fang, who gave a salute. He sure would!

He held the look for a few more seconds before counting out munny into Steven's paw - enough for fifteen balls. He figured it was a good investment towards keeping both his bat and the moogles happy; the latter more important now that they'd been attacked twice by people in power armor. Plus, he'd gotten a good amount in Nightmare hunts and wasn't exactly hurting for cash. That accomplished, he scratched behind Fang's ears - "I'll be back in a while." - and headed off, leaving the bat to his game.
It was about forty minutes - enough time to get some food and really relax for a while (not to mention time enough for his own failures at the game not to smart so badly) - before he returned. "Well? How'd you do?"

Wash reached up and patted Fang, trying to wipe the look of mild shock off his face. How on Earth was his bat so good at a game he'd failed so miserably at? "Guess he behaved, huh," he said rather dumbly, picking up the dream pieces and stashing the rarer ones in separate pockets. He'd figure out what a Kab Kannon and an Ursa Circus were later, he supposed. He left the leftover munny with Steven, however. "Keep it. Thanks for keeping him busy."
