Bolin, with the help of Spirits, Moogles, and various other people had finally finished setting up the party. There were tables laden with different kinds of food of course and decorations everywhere. They'd made sure to clear a space for dancing and Perry the Platypus had volunteered to DJ with some equipment borrowed from the moogles for the night. Bolin wished there could be more people so they could have games and stuff like a proper street festival...but for what he had he felt it was pretty good.

Now they just needed people to show up for the fun.

Moxie finally found it, the sweet delicious ice cream. It was calling to him.

Pay no attention to the ecstatic Meow Wow stampeding through. There's probably few things that would stop him now anyway, although some could try.

"Stop! Come back!" Emizel was not about to take blame for anything that was about to get knocked over. As soon as he finally caught up to the Spirit he had to slow him down the only way he knew how by tackling him. Just in time too, they were just about to collide with another table, near Eraqus.

"g.. geez.." once Moxie seemed to have calmed down he got off. That was waaaay too close.

Eraqus saw the Meow Wow coming, and stepped aside before it managed to reach him and his Spirits. Oh, if this crashed into the table, it was going to end badly--

Except it was stopped just in time by Emizel. Eraqus let out a small breath of relief, more for the two on the ground than himself.

"Well he's certainly...enthusiastic," Eraqus said. The ruckus and the sight of another Meow Wow was enough to get Chuza up and awake, and she sniffed at the other Spirit.

"He gets like that sometimes.. when he's a little excited," it was fairly close to the first time Moxie had sea-salt, actually. Still more behaved than most of his kind though; it just only took a small thing to set him off.

Moxie could still see the ice cream stand from here and whined and squirmed a bit prior to Emizel standing back up, he really wanted to make sure the Meow Wow had the hype out of his system before he let him go. They will go visit it soon enough. Although.. having another Meow Wow around might've been distracting enough for the moment.

Moxie's tail wagged as he sniffed back at Chuza. Then tried to circle around to get a better look at her.

"I see that," Eraqus mused. "At least he is on the smaller side..." Soemon seemed to get excited easily too, and she was also easily the biggest Spirit he had. He could only imagine the damage if a Thunderaffe went crashing into these tables.

Chuza yipped, tail wagging, and started circling around back so that she could watch Moxie, too. The result seemed to be that the two Meow Wows were circling around each other, and it looked more amusing than anything. Eraqus raised an eyebrow at the sight. "I guess they are getting to know each other."

... It's true, sometimes Dream Eaters were not always the brightest. Now was probably a good example with the Meow Wow wheel going on right now. Especially when sooner of later Moxie realized he was getting dizzy and stopped, to roll over.

"Sometimes I'm really not sure if he thinks he's smaller or bigger than he really is."

They were certainly reliable in battle (at least most of the time), but outside their own personalities lent them certain...quirks. As if to demonstrate, Chuza decided that this meant it was time for a sleeping pile! She stopped circling and flopped onto Moxie, content to take another nap.

"And sometimes I'm not always sure that this one is paying any attention..." he sighed. "But perhaps that's not as much trouble as overenthusiasm."

"Depends.." if the problem was laziness, then Emizel knew exactly what that was like, as he eyed the bat in the sky. At least Val was only a pain in that perspective.

Moxie wasn't so sure what to do with a Meow Wow on his back so he wiggled, albeit in kind of a playful manner. Stubby paws did not make for good escapes however so eventually he kinda wore himself out... Eh, maybe a nap wasn't that bad too.

"It's just different problems." Eraqus observed as the two Meow Wows just flopped together into a pile. Both seemed a bit content with a nap at the moment...obviously Chuza moreso than Moxie.

He sighed. Things seemed to have settled down for now. "I hope you're enjoying this get-together otherwise."

The demon did huff a little but it might've been more in the frustration of Moxie still rather than anything else. "It's fine."

Might've been more fun if the right people were here, that one bit had been bothering him. He wasn't even that sure what to exactly do at events like these... normally, let alone what most non demons did.

There was the sound of frustration in his voice, and he wasn't entirely sure it was over the Meow Wows' antics. Perhaps something else was bothering him. "You don't sound entirely convinced," Eraqus said.

Emizel may or may not take the opportunity to elaborate, but the listening ear was there anyway.

The temptation was there, but honestly, what could anyone do? They were already doing enough as is to fix everything, they couldn't just make others fall from the sky either. Besides, Emizel was probably lucky as is no one so far has ever questioned his ethnics. Not everyone wants to help a demon. Technically no one should.

"... It's nothing."

It was always when someone else said "it's nothing" that they meant there was something...just something they did not want to discuss with anyone. And he was little more than an acquaintance at this point, so it was not exactly his place to demand he talk about it.

Still, he could offer some advice. "Even if you don't feel comfortable discussing it with me, you should find someone you do. Even if you're not expecting such, it may help."

"I'll keep that in mind."

Emizel was back to focusing on the Meow Wows for now. Possibly still in debate if he should ask anything or not. Maybe courage will come to him eventually.

Eraqus wondered if he would or not. Sometimes that sort of response was just a form of brushing off, not that it would surprise him.

He glanced back towards the Meow Wows as well. Chuza rolled over on top of Moxie, and seemed to get a bit of energy from this quick catnap, and she began bouncing on him. Moxie made a great pillow!

"These sorts certainly keep nothing to themselves..."

Good thing Meow Wows are ninety percent squish then. Moxie was totally unfazed, and over all was being quite a bit lazy himself now. No amount of bouncing was gonna bother him.

"Seems not," all Spirits were pretty good at that, in their own ways. "At least he got over the ice cream."

Just then Moxie's ears perked. Uh oh, maybe it was a bad idea bringing that up again.

In that case, Chuza was happy to continue to bounce on Moxie. This was getting to be fun, and much like a trampoline, once you started it was difficult to stop.

"Well...perhaps as long as it's not mentioned as such," Eraqus said. He noted that sudden interest in the Meow Wow's look. They didn't want to go through that mess again.

"Right..." he noticed that too at the last second. Luckily, Moxie seemed to have calmed down once again. Well, at calm as he could be while being bounced on. At some point he twitched a hind leg.

....Sure was taking that pretty well.

Indeed, Eraqus was surprised that Moxie was being so tolerant of the other Meow Wow. The bouncing continued while they both stared. Finally, Chuza got enough height that she bounced right off of Moxie, and then just rolled over towards Eraqus's feet. Okay, that was enough exercise for the next half hour or so.

Eraqus sighed. "Although perhaps you would rather have some...well, food that doesn't need mentioning." Moxie might perk up again at the thought of ice cream if it was said out loud.

Even the mention of food entirely got Moxie's attention, though it wasn't as bad as it could have been. The Meow Wow was on slightly better behavior now, as he picked himself up and sat right back down in front of both of them, like he was trying to ask where this other food was. After all, what sort of animal could possibly resist free food?

"It would be bad if it all went to waste," a lot of moogles and residents did go through a lot of work just to make this 'party' happen, after all.

Eraqus wasn't sure if that was an affirmative on Emi's part that he wanted some food or not, but decided to offer it anyway. Perhaps that would get him to open up a little more.

"That is true enough." He reached over and retrieved some ice cream, only to hand it over to Emi...and at least attempted to do so out of reach of Moxie. That would probably just end up tempting the Meow Wow, though.

All attempts might be futile, since as soon a the Meow Wow saw something being handled over he still tried to get his face all up in everyone's business. No tackling though, thankfully, but a few whines and barks.

"No, not for you," Emizel had to keep the ice cream over his head just in case Moxie did try to jump to get it. "You can have something later if you be good."

Moxie already had cookies and other treats earlier, there was no way the Meow Wow was staving as much as he made it seem like.

Eventually he gave up, with a little pout. Looking for something else to do instead he wandered off to see if Chuza wanted to play, or something.

Eraqus saw the whines and barks, but having gotten used to plenty of Dream Eaters getting up in his face (Soemon being the latest problem) he didn't show too much concern.

At least Moxie wasn't trying to jump into tables as before, even though it was obvious he wanted the treat. "It looks like there's a little improvement already."

Chuza, meanwhile, had gotten all tuckered out from the bouncing and had rolled over into nap mode again close to Eraqus's feet. However, Kura the Hebby Repp finally scampered out from under the table where he had been sniffing about most of the time. Hey, look! He had a swell party hat!

Moxie considers this a new potential playmate then, even if he was kind of wary of Hebby Repps. But if he was able to tolerate Xion's Axel, then others can't be so bad either.

Emizel was just relived Moxie was leaving him alone now, now he can have the ice cream in peace. "He's not so bad all the time."

He could tell this conversation was not going to many places if one of them didn't do something. Consider it as part of the opening process.

"...So what about you. Why are you all by yourself?" everyone else Emizel has met were pretty much on the same ~friendship~ page anyway. Hard to imagine now there would be someone else that wasn't.

Kura could be haughty at times (okay, many times) but at least he wasn't too trigger-happy with his fire attacks unless he was in an actual Nightmare battle. He jumped up on the Meow Wow's back, still awfully excited about his new hat.

"No, it doesn't seem like it."

Eraqus would normally be on the same page in terms of the 'friendship,' although he had moved into a much more mature realm of what that encompassed. "Such parties are a little beyond my time. I prefer to just come and observe, is all."

Oh no! He was not expecting to be turn into a mount! Moxie wasn't sure how he was supposed to face the Hebby Repp like this, but it doesn't stop him from spinning around anyway. Our ferocious rainbow balls of derp, ladies and gentlemen.

That did make sense. With Nightmare attacks being slightly random it did help that someone was around to respond to it. Possibly faster than anyone else could anyway.

Or at least, that's what he figured was the point.

"I guess you wouldn't know what to do at get togethers like this then."
