4. Party Rock Anthem

Characters: Party People
Content: Bolin hosts a block party in Twilight Town. Food, fun, and partying! Whoo!
Location (including world): Twilight Town, The Sandlot
Time of Day: Late afternoon and into the night
Warnings: Excessive partying?
Notes: Feel free to start your own sub-threads, thread-jack, and just have fun. Open free for all is the style for threading.

Bolin, with the help of Spirits, Moogles, and various other people had finally finished setting up the party. There were tables laden with different kinds of food of course and decorations everywhere. They'd made sure to clear a space for dancing and Perry the Platypus had volunteered to DJ with some equipment borrowed from the moogles for the night. Bolin wished there could be more people so they could have games and stuff like a proper street festival...but for what he had he felt it was pretty good.

Now they just needed people to show up for the fun.

Cooking is a fine art, and one that Lin is limited in herself. Albeit in foods not commonly found in Traverse or Twilight Town. "I suspect most dream eaters may enjoy it, regardless. But practice will make perfect." Eventually. Maybe?

"Maybe I should try giving it to them. I'm sure Bouncer would eat it. He'll eat pretty much anything."

Anything to fill his bottomless pit of a stomach. He looked over at Roxas when his name was called. Did his person need him for something?

"Not too much in one go. Wouldn't want to make him sick." Lin didn't want to imagine how unpleasant cleaning up and taking care of a sick meow wow could potentially be. And were dairy products bad for cat-dog-things?

Who knew.

"I'll remember. I spoil him enough as it is."

He tried his best to be strict with his dreams eaters, but there were moments of weakness. Particularly when Bouncer stared up at him with those big eyes.

"A little discipline never hurts," commented Lin, and her Pricklemane sat up at attention, puffing up proudly. He's very well behaved - or at least, he tries to be! "Is he the only one you have?"
seasaltkeys: (I tried my best)

"I try," Roxas replied with a sigh. He really did but Bouncer had a way of getting to him with those big pleading eyes of his.

"I have two others. A Me Me Bunny and an R&R Seal."

The ruefulness earned a crooked half-smile from the metalbender. "They do seem created with being very affectionate, don't they." It wasn't something she was particularly used to.

The rabbit she was familiar with but-- "A seal? I don't think I've seen any of those about."
seasaltkeys: (I don't know)

"He's rare. I won him in a struggle tournament. Flipper, come here!"

The seal, who had been playing around and keeping the ice cream cool wandered over, tossing his ball up and down.

"Struggle?" Brow wrinkled a moment, before an 'ah' crossed her lips. "The 'sport' involving paddle-bats, or some such?" The moogles had made mention of it when she had spoken to them some days ago; it certainly seemed like a game for children.

Lin watched the seal approach. "He certainly looks unique. Does he do anything special?"

At that, Flipper tossed his ball up, clapped his flippers, caught the ball and lobbed it at Roxas's head. Roxas tried to step out of the way but the ball caught him in the face. Better that than the ice cream he supposed.

"It's not a very good talent," he said as he rubbed his nose.
