Bolin, with the help of Spirits, Moogles, and various other people had finally finished setting up the party. There were tables laden with different kinds of food of course and decorations everywhere. They'd made sure to clear a space for dancing and Perry the Platypus had volunteered to DJ with some equipment borrowed from the moogles for the night. Bolin wished there could be more people so they could have games and stuff like a proper street festival...but for what he had he felt it was pretty good.

Now they just needed people to show up for the fun.

"You don't like parties?"

Roxas could understand that. He wasn't that social of a person, but Bolin had asked him to come after all.

"All the spirits have their own personalities. Maybe he's just difficult. Flipper's like that sometimes."

Epsilon just stared at Roxas. "Two things: I'm not a social guy. And food is kind of useless to me, other than for those two."

He reached to pet the Cyber Yog on the head. "I've noticed that. Wouldn't trade him for anything. He keeps life interesting."

"I'm not social either," Roxas replied, "What about hanging out with friends?"

He turned his attention to the Cyber Yog. It was weird, in his opinion, although that generally applied to most spirits he encountered.

Epsilon would have been frowning if he could. "I don't have many of those, and the ones I have, I'm not burdening them."

The Cyber Yog took a step forward, looking at Roxas.

"I don't think you can be a burden to your friends..." If nothing else, Roxas shared that with his other. Friends were supposed to be there for each other after all.

Although that train of thought was abandoned as Roxas took a step back from the Cyber Yog.

"Why's it looking at me?"

"It's damn well possible. Trust me. I've experienced it."

Epsilon looks at the Cyber Yog. "It looks at a lot of things. Don't worry unless it starts trying to chew on you."

If Roxas hadn't been distracted by the Cyber Yog, he might have said something more about friendship, but large dream eaters were intimidating.

He took a step back.

"Like, on my clothes or something?"

Epsilon reached out to pat his Cyber Yog on the head, keeping a hold of the dream eater. "Hard to tell. But he won't hurt you. Right?" Looking at it, just to get a look.

Allison had her paws full with those two.

"He better not. Flipper tends to retaliate if I get hurt."

The R&R seal glanced over from where he was balancing his ball on his nose, ready to toss it if need be.

"At least I've trained him not to throw it at me anymore."

"I'm sure we can keep him in line."

Epsilon couldn't help a laugh at that. "Always a good start to stop your allies from attacking you. Dying to your teammates sucks."

Roxas gave the cyber yog another look before switching his focus to Epsilon.

"Don't tell me that's happened to you to? You've got really bad luck."

He's slowly coming to terms with this AI things, and figures that dying's not easy for him. Still though, as far as Roxas was concerned, Epsilon's life sucked.

Epsilon nodded. "It has happened a few times. Let's just say I had an idiot on my team that seems only able to succeed at injuring friends." Though that was more the Alpha and not Epsilon himself experiencing it, but he wasn't going into that.

Considering that Roxas has his hands full enough with figuring out AI, going into the differences between them was probably going to break his brain.

"Why was he on your team then?"

[fearmylaserface]

"He was assigned to the team. You don't always get a choice on your team. Especially in the military."

[seasaltkeys]

"So you just ran out of luck with him? I'd rather be able to choose my team."

Although he knew what it was like not to get a choice of teammate. Usually he was just assigned a mission with someone. If Roxas had had his way, he'd have done all his missions with Axel. And Xion he had to remind himself.
