Wicked Clean-Up [active/open]
Who: Altis, open
Content: Altis goes about her day collecting dream pieces and munny (aka: the least day job like day job ever)
Location: Traverse Town, throughout the city
Time of Day: Afternoon to early evening
Warnings: None that I can think of.
Even if everyone said what she wanted to do was impossible, Altis wasn't about to give up yet. One little mistake didn't mean a failure, after all, and if the worst thing to come from failing to make a Nightmare was getting a new partner in crime, then there really wasn't anything to worry about. Sure, she could always capture a bunch of Nightmares and use them, but she'd rather keep that plan in the wings as a last resort. No Risk, All Reward plans were definitely the way to go.
"Okay! That's the last one I've seen in this area. Now to the next. Signal me if you spot anything," Altis said, putting her gun away. Emizel Jr. hopped up and down and gave an affirmative squeak in response.

Case in point: arriving somewhere only to find someone else had just finished clearing the area of Nightmares. Barkley and Axel didn't seem to mind, though, and hurried to greet the other person's Spirit, leaving Xion to fend for herself with its person. "Hello.

"Oh! Hello," Altis said, surprised to see someone else out. She'd been trying to be careful to avoid the busier areas of town, but she guessed she wasn't the only one looking for Nightmares. "You were at that meeting, weren't you?"
no subject
"Yes, I was." Most of them had been at the meeting, and Xion thought as quickly as she could try to remember the girl's name. It didn't take long to remember her from the network. " You're Altis, right? You wanted to make a Nightmare?"
no subject
Altis smiled. "That's right, and I haven't given up yet. What's your name again? I don't think I remember hearing it while we were at the meeting."

Xion wondered why making a Nightmare was so important. Spirits were much easier to make, and more helpful. She kept those thoughts to herself, though, and answered the question. Altis wouldn't remember her name from the meeting, because nobody had said it. "I'm Xion."
no subject
"Xion then. How long have you been in dream land?"
no subject
"I think as long as most of us--It looks like I was part of the first group to arrive.

Of course, because he wanted to be mostly alone - he wasn't about to send Fang off - he'd run into someone. Altis, his memory supplied, the girl who wanted to create a Nightmare. Right. He took a sidelong glance at her Pricklemane, just to be sure of things, but it looked pretty happy to be there. "Looks like you two are getting along pretty well," he said conversationally as Fang flew over to the Pricklemane to squeak its hellos.

Alongside her, the bat soared, seemingly in his element -- so much so that he didn't notice her put on the breaks. With a surprised chirp, he halted, and turned to his owner, who looked around the area.
"Do you -- see anything?" she asked the Dream Eater, panting slightly.

The sound of the bright yellow and orange ball gradually got louder and was complemented by the noise of a Meow Wow trying to keep up with it with it's stubby legs. It was so transfixed on catching up to it that it had no idea there was a Pricklemane in the way until the last second. All that momentum the Meow Wow had picked up was not going to work in its favor now that it had to come to a screeching halt.
