Well that was... not good. When the body appeared, Ven was directly below it, Wheeler and Linka by his side. Wheeler automatically shot off a fireball with a screech and Linka was powering up her own Darkness attack when all of the other magical attacks slammed into the body, one after the other. Ven barely had time to cover his eyes againt the blinding light and start reaching for the pauldron on his shoulder when the Nightmare exploded, his fingertips only grazing the metal before he was launched off his feet by the force of the boom. Wheeler and Linka avoided more of the damage than he did being more or less under his body - Ven took the brunt, despite his dream eaters scrambling to protect him. He was thrown across the room to slam into a tree, a nasty gash on his forehead as he rolled down the tree to slump unconscious at the bottom. His dream eaters screeched in alarm as they tried to run to their daddy, but their own relatively severe injuries stopped it from happening quickly.
