What: The portals are closed. Everyone's in Traverse Town, including a whole bunch of new people. This should be interesting.

You didn't expect to be here. You really didn't. The technicolor buildings are a surprise, as is the little white flying bear telling you you're in the dream world. He gives you a bag full of what looks to be currency, enough shiny things to create a creature of your own (or so he says), and sends you on your way.

Death raised a bony hand to his chin, giving the suggestion some thought. The glow in his eye sockets appeared to pulse, but apart from that he didn't move an inch even when one of the more inquisitive Spirits pottered behind him and began to investigate his phalanges.

WHAT WOULD THIS ENTAIL? he asked after several long moments, quite seriously. He'd never been inclined to rush into things.

"You know, things friends do!" Missile stretched his front paws out, back arcing to hold his tail up high. "Being around to make each other feel better when we're sad, or cuddles, or sharing donuts!" Most would not assume cuddling with a skeleton to be the greatest feeling, but Missile would find a way to make it happen.

If Death was averse to the idea of being cuddled, his impassive grin didn't show it. He fell pensively silent again, and this time began to root around inside his robe.

I APPEAR TO HAVE NO DOUGHNUTS, he said after a while, BUT AN ASSORTMENT OF COLOURFUL SHINY FRAGMENTS. ARE THESE ACCEPTABLE?
