What: The portals are closed. Everyone's in Traverse Town, including a whole bunch of new people. This should be interesting.

You didn't expect to be here. You really didn't. The technicolor buildings are a surprise, as is the little white flying bear telling you you're in the dream world. He gives you a bag full of what looks to be currency, enough shiny things to create a creature of your own (or so he says), and sends you on your way.

"Of course not," Fraser said with an honest smile breaking over his face, "but I will have to try to make one. And secure lodgings. Do you have somewhere to stay?"

Missile blinked as he realized his apartment was probably not here, and he no longer could take up residence in an unoccupied lamp or bicycle. "I didn't think of that! I don't like sleeping alone! It's dark and sad!" His barking took on a more frantic edge. "And hungry!"

"Well," Fraser said, and considered the Pomeranian. Technically, he wasn't a pet; he was a fellow... strandee? "I believe I should be able to rent a room, er, somewhere around here. If you still need a place to stay by evening, you would be welcome to share it."

With Dief gone, he'd miss canid company in any case.
