Dreaming Wide Awake [Fourth Wall/Open]

Who: Everyone! Current characters, fourth wall characters, whoever wants to show up.
What: The portals are closed. Everyone's in Traverse Town, including a whole bunch of new people. This should be interesting.
Where: Traverse Town
When: Throughout the day
Warnings: Depends on the characters. Expect language at least.

You didn't expect to be here. You really didn't. The technicolor buildings are a surprise, as is the little white flying bear telling you you're in the dream world. He gives you a bag full of what looks to be currency, enough shiny things to create a creature of your own (or so he says), and sends you on your way.

Good luck.

That's a powerful thing for a spirit to do, she said, actually quite impressed.

It sounded like that was a matter of opportunity, though. Maybe the opportunity wasn't available anymore? Can you not do that here? Having the ability to prevent someone from dying would be a useful skill around here, especially if it wasn't necessarily combat-oriented.

"It was! I was really happy to be able to help." He hadn't always felt powerful, but it had been enough to make a difference, in the end.

"No, since I've stopped being dead, my spirit's stuck in my body again. Then again, I haven't had a whole lot of reason to try since then!" For that, he was thankful. Still, he was starting to get the idea that things weren't so peaceful here as his reincarnated home.

You're very lucky that you get a second chance at life, Ammy barked. Although this place is its own set of problems. Thusfar, nothing having to do with people dying, but Ammy didn't want to find out if that happened. This place was definitely less peaceful than her home, too, last she left it.
