Who: Everyone! Current characters, fourth wall characters, whoever wants to show up.
What: The portals are closed. Everyone's in Traverse Town, including a whole bunch of new people. This should be interesting.

You didn't expect to be here. You really didn't. The technicolor buildings are a surprise, as is the little white flying bear telling you you're in the dream world. He gives you a bag full of what looks to be currency, enough shiny things to create a creature of your own (or so he says), and sends you on your way.

North wanted to reach out, provide a comforting hand or something, but he was constantly worried that that would just make things worse.

"Alright. I won't interfere. Just, make sure you talk to him Carolina."

Perhaps it would. Perhaps it wouldn't. With Carolina, it was better not to, not when she was already aggitated. But she appreciated that North was willing to listen, and wasn't pushing her further on the matter.

"I will. Just not right now." But soon. She'd learned twice now the cost of waiting too long.

Safe subject change? Safe subject change. "What do you think caused us all to arrive here?"

"Who knows?" North said with a shrug. "I've sort of given up trying to explain why this place does what it does. But if I had to guess, maybe whoever wants us here feels we need to speed up the process."

"Maybe we'll actually find out who's responsible for this," Carolina growled, displeased at the thought of accelerated testing. They both knew how well that had worked out for the Project after all.

"Keep me posted if you notice anything weirder than usual?"

"Will do, Boss," North replied with a nod. He wasn't sure how he felt about there being a baseline weirdness around.

Yeah, Carolina's not much of a fan of the fact they've got that established either. "I'm going to see if I can find Chell. You know how to reach me if you need me."
