What: The portals are closed. Everyone's in Traverse Town, including a whole bunch of new people. This should be interesting.

You didn't expect to be here. You really didn't. The technicolor buildings are a surprise, as is the little white flying bear telling you you're in the dream world. He gives you a bag full of what looks to be currency, enough shiny things to create a creature of your own (or so he says), and sends you on your way.

He sat to take in the lesson, nodding along. Dogs weren't great at colors, but he could get the gist of it. "That's an awful lot of Persons to keep track of. You guys must be really busy taking care of them! I hope they give you guys lots of treats."

The whirr of his tail slowed a little, as he thought of his own people back home. He hoped they'd be okay while he was here. "It's so easy for Persons to get in trouble without someone looking after them."

And that's just the ones my Person likes. And she doesn't like a lot of people. But that's okay, I like people for her. It's a very grave responsibility. Spirit treats are the best treats! Especially cakes. ALl that sugar, mmmmmmm.

She noticed the slower tail wags, and purred reassuringly. Maybe one of your Persons is here, too? Want to go look? She danced in a quick circle. Keeping an eye on Persons is a full time job. Dax is with my Person, so I know she's okay.

"It's definitely important to make sure all your Persons' friends feel welcome!" Maybe that mindset had gotten Missile into a heap more trouble than it was worth, but being a friend was just what doggies do. He wiggled at the thought of all the new friends to give him treats. "I hope you have donuts, those are the best."

"Ooh, you think so?" He'd found them in stranger places before, after all. If nothing else, he could meet lots of other neat persons. "You're the best!"

I know the moogles have popcorn. I bet if we ask nice, we can check for donuts. She's heard tell of those delicious treats, and Lela would love nothing more than to try one. All spirits are their Persons' best friend. It's what we are. Since you're a spirit, that clearly applies to you too!

Bouncing in place, Lela nodded her head, strawberries and throat-peach bobbing with her efforts. Let's go! We'll go find everybody! What's your person like, we'll see if they're here first!
