What: The portals are closed. Everyone's in Traverse Town, including a whole bunch of new people. This should be interesting.

You didn't expect to be here. You really didn't. The technicolor buildings are a surprise, as is the little white flying bear telling you you're in the dream world. He gives you a bag full of what looks to be currency, enough shiny things to create a creature of your own (or so he says), and sends you on your way.

She'd never asked for the full story (not her world, not her problem) but she had learned of some matters from Eraqus and she had been...concerned, to say the least. "Unless something happened, you should be able to reach him on the communicator."

...Did she have one? "Did you encounter any moogles yet?"

"With so large a crowd here, I can assure you, that won't bother them very much." Far better to be ignored out of concern than shot at by trigger happy soldiers. "We'll flag one down for you shortly. They have packs to hand out to new arrivals which will help you get established here, however long or short your stay."

Lin motioned to the pricklemane scampering at her side. "You'll be given pieces to create a dream eater, who'll protect you here. They're quite affectionate and loyal."
