Dreaming Wide Awake [Fourth Wall/Open]

What: The portals are closed. Everyone's in Traverse Town, including a whole bunch of new people. This should be interesting.

You didn't expect to be here. You really didn't. The technicolor buildings are a surprise, as is the little white flying bear telling you you're in the dream world. He gives you a bag full of what looks to be currency, enough shiny things to create a creature of your own (or so he says), and sends you on your way.

She sighed heavily, as if years of pain and burdens had suddenly piled on top of her shoulders. "That man... he is the cause behind so much grief, and terror... So I'm not surprised to hear he might be the cause of this. I've never faced him, but he has hurt my friends and family for years."

Luna's face darkened. "I am not surprised. I have seen him in countless nightmares. Aqua, Sora, Terra, Ventus." Her tone says a little bit about the kind of relationship she had with Ventus, ere he left; she can be an extremely overprotective pony mom.

Well clearly she must have known three of those names from the past, because those poor children are lost to the world. But she brightens upon hearing Sora's name, for he was far from lost - he was a savior. "Sora is here? Oh, that's wonderful! He'll make things all right, I'm certain of it."

"Yes, he is. And Riku as well." And Not Riku, whom Luna hesitates to mention simply because she has no idea what to call the boy.

She looks slightly confused at Minnie's enthusiasm over Sora - who is certainly a good fighter and a valuable asset, but she has no sense of him as a savior in particular - but says nothing about it. "Ventus and Terra have left our company, but Aqua is still here, and Master Eraqus. Are you familiar with them?"

Her joy then became confusion, perhaps some horror as well. She studied Luna's face, trying to make sure she'd heard correctly. Surely she didn't say that, and yet...

"Those two... you can't have met them. They can't be here." She spoke slowly. "Aqua was lost in the realm of darkness... and Master Eraqus was..." She trailed off.

Killed.

"He was..." Luna's ears flattened, and she looked away briefly. She wasn't waiting for an answer; she inferred well enough what that pause meant. "Forgive me. I was unaware." Did Eraqus know? Did Aqua? Ventus certainly hadn't. Luna hadn't always been the best of friends with the older Keyblade master, but she thought he meant well, in the end.

"Time is not especially linear, here. My sister comes from a point nearly a year in our future, and recalls things I have not yet experienced." Her voice lowered. "And some of our number are known to...be departed, by their future comrades."
