We Remember Our Bedrooms

Of all the worlds available, and despite the memories it held, Roxas still found Twilight Town to be his favorite.

It was familiar, and well, the closest thing he had to a home. While he didn't mind the Dalmatian's mansion, it was in Traverse Town, and that held other memories. Memories that Roxas couldn't lay claim to. At least with Twilight Town, the memories were his, real or not.

Which brought him to today's mission, one that he had somewhat been avoiding. He had to know, did his room still exist? Was it still there, as he remembered it? Was it just an empty space? Or had it never really existed in Twilight Town at all. As much as it scared him, he had to know.

Well, it was kind of difficult to move out without alerting one's roommate.

"Oh. Well, okay. If that's what you want, there's nothing wrong with that." And Sora meant that. If Roxas would really be more comfortable with his room in Twilight Town, if it was there, then Sora couldn't argue.

"You're...sure?"

Roxas, admittedly, hadn't really anticipated anything for Sora's reaction, but that he was completely okay with it sort of threw him for a loop. "I mean, it's not...'cause of you. I just. Like Twilight Town, more than Traverse Town."

"Yeah. It's up to you."

Sora wasn't going to force Roxas to stay. Or to do anything else he didn't want to for that matter. His choices were his. "I sort of figured that would be it. Your best memories are there, right?"

"Yeah, they are." Even if some of them were fake. "I'll probably come here even if my room's not there."

"Alright. Well, even if it's not there, this is a nice town. I'll bet there's a good place available somewhere." For Roxas's sake, Sora kind of hoped the room was there. It might be more comfortable than having to pick out a different place.

"Yeah, like in the terrace or something like that."

Although, he didn't want to get too ahead of himself.
