Yowl-Chika-Meow-Meow
Characters: Wash, Ziva, and their various Spirits
Content: Wash introduces a new cat to the house and begins to realize just what he's in for.
Where: Traverse Town, Hotel, Wash and Ziva's room
When: Evening, a day or two into the new week.
Warnings: Tucker!cat. Just. Tucker!cat.
Wash couldn't help but feel pretty damn satisfied. He'd finally managed to get a Frootz Cat, the new cat seemed to be pretty friendly so far, and even Melody was getting along with her. He still owed Kanji a favor for trading him, and he'd be sure to make good on it when that came up, but for now he was just enjoying having two cats around.
Simple pleasures. What could he say.
He'd been acquainting the new cat, whom he'd named Carmen, to his other Spirits and showing her around the hotel. She'd seemed pretty interested in seeing people more so than Spirits, oddly enough. He finally made it back to his hotel room, shut the door behind the cats, and started removing his armor. At this point, he wanted a night in.
Carmen sniffed her way around the room, pawing at the dresser. This doesn't smell like their person. Does someone else live here?
Melody had already taken her customary place on her person's pillow and was grooming a paw. Yep. Our person has a person.
Oh. Carmen sat back, pondering this. Roommates?
Something like that, Melody replied.

"A new spirit?" She said, walking over to kiss Wash's cheek. "You finally got another cat."

"Yeah, the Moogles gave us a bunch of rare pieces in exchange for all those apples from Ponyville." Wash shrugged, crossing the room to kiss Ziva on the cheek. "Her name's Carmen, and I owe Kanji a favor for trading the pieces to me."
Carmen locked eyes with Gibbs - Hi! Who're you? - before catching the kiss and yowling appreciatively. Ohhhhh, they're that kind of roommates! She can work with that.
