[open!]
Who: Maine and anyone who dares
What: Maine Meet andGreet Growl!
Where: Traverse Town maine square
When: This week
Warnings: U for Unintelligible, S for stubborn, M for Maine
Maine has built up a little routine; sleeping in, light workout, breakfast, go fight some nightmares, lunch, go fight some more nightmares, dinner, wander down/fight nightmares, sleep.
He makes time to take breaks in the nightmare fights to feed and care for Mace, although his training methods aren't exactly the most efficient. He's been here how long and he still can't get the Pricklemaine to recall very well without a healthy dose of snacks.
The pricklemaine is devoted to his Person, but he's also easily destracted and wanders off often. Who did you find first, the Man or the Dream Eater?

"Oh, hello!" Ziva said to the new spirit, sliding to a stop, watching as Ducky did the same. He immediately hid behind her legs, because new spirits always made him wary...unlike Fluffy and his need for attention.

Maine came running up a moment later, a snack gripped in his hand as he growled lowly at the pricklemaine for not coming when called, or stopping when instructed, or generally listening to him at all. This all comes out in a low rumble from Maine, though, and seeing the other Dream Eaters and the woman he comes to a stop and gives a nod and a grunt. It's not quite an apology for his errant Dream Eater.

She glanced up when she heard Maine walk up and seemingly growl at his spirit. "I am assuming he is yours then?"

"My name is Ziva. I hope you do not think this rude, but are you a friend of Agent Washington?" It was the armor that may have given it away.

She trotted down the street back towards the portal, with Susano and Chu in tow. At least Chu was behaving for now. That is, until Susano was alerted to the other Pricklemane nearby, and bounced up to meet it. Ammy followed along after him, wanting to make sure he didn't get himself into any mischief...and spotted Maine just ahead.
She came to a halt and sniffed warily at the stranger. He was dressed similarly to people like North and Wash, but not quite the same. And she couldn't help feeling that build was similar to the creature they kept bumping into on the spaceship world. Was this a friend or foe?

Susano, meanwhile, squeaked back at Mace with excitement. This was a new Pricklemane! Chu was getting antsy, though, and stomped his hooves. His person had better be careful!

Maine continued to look at the collection of Dream Eaters, wondering where their person was. He made a vaguely dismissive wave, to send them off.

Ammy perked her ears up in further confusion. What was with that kind of dismissive wave? Despite Chu's nervous bleating, she stepped a little bit closer, and barked a greeting at him. All of the armored people at least tried to speak with her. Did this one not want to bother?

Most often, when two Spirits met, they'd engage in excited, playful greetings. Whatever Mace might have done, though, Kri-Kri caught sight of the stray Pricklemane and tensed up immediately, lowering his horns and warbling a warning note: velcro was inspired by parasitic plantlife that ensnares unaware hosts.

The various noises of irritation and distress brought Chell running over, exasperated more than worried as she went up and smacked the ram Spirit on the nose. He gave a snort of discontent.
The Komory Bat fluttering after was the one that looked to Mace and its person, snuffling an apology while Chell glared down the unruly Cyber Yog. Sorry sorry he's sad and grumpy and learning how to play sorry!!!

Your Person is very brave!

The bat huffed in pride, attempting to puff out its chest--not that one could easily tell with a nigh-spherical creature. She is the very toughest of Persons she is going to make him be a very good friend too! Your Person was very brave too he was not scared of my friend at all!!

He jumped at the last second, sailing over the pricklemane, but landing in a heap on the ground. Bouncer the Meow Wow would have gone to check on him, but there was a new friend to be made!
no subject
Your person flew!
Maine comes up with a grunt, are you trying to kill his Dream Eater, boy?
no subject
He backs up a bit when he sees Maine. While he doesn't really mind the armour guys, some of them seem nice, this guy's definitely the biggest. And, well, that's intimidating.
"I wasn't trying to hit him."
Bouncer in the meantime wuffed approvingly. He is good at that. He can sometimes fly higher but he needs help.

"I'm fine," he says, after the nod. The box he'd landed on wasn't however. Not that Roxas was concerned. "Are you a friend of Agent York and them?"
no subject
The bat did notice the Pricklemane and was flying over to say hello as its partner followed. Six was less than thrilled.
no subject
His Person, as of yet, hasn't appeared.
CR for these two? :3
Nightmare hunting is good for training Dream Eaters, though, and Xion has quite a few of them. She was testing Manda the Toximander and Flare the Sudo Neku as a team when she ran into Maine. It was difficult not to notice him--he looked like he could give Aeleus a challenge. He looked like he was trying to find something, too, which was enough to get Flare interested. What was the new Person looking for?

It was Spike who noticed his fellow Pricklemane as they were on their way back. He squeaked excitedly - a new friend! - and bounced his way over. Hi! Hi! Hi!
It took Rarity a moment to realize where he'd gone and start trotting after him. "Spike? You know you're not supposed to run off in the middle of town!"

True, the tamasheep is attempting to make a hasty exit as he banks around a corner, checking for more open space to lure the hoard behind him, but the cyan-painted hebby repp sitting on his back is more than happy to cough fireballs back at the enemy, causing the meow-wows to scatter in fear.
Neither Tobin or Dax seemed to have noticed they're leading this gaggle into the path of 'friendly' company. Not that that would likely to stop them at all. Just where was their Person, anyway...?
