Forgiiiive myyy wandering eye; I cannot explain it, I cannot contain it...
Who: Soma and very much open to anyone and anything
What: A certain bat pony starts poking his muzzle around; hijinks may ensue
Where: Ponyville, aaaall over the place
When: A couple days after this
Warnings: None yet, depends on who joins in and stuff. Also I have no idea how this place is actually laid out, so... yeah, please take that into account. XD
Soma was really enjoying this world, which was something he'd never expected. From weather-making lessons with one of its rulers, to soaring among the clouds without worrying about being attacked (okay, mostly without worrying), to being able to put all the soul-searching crap on a back burner and just be himself for a while, it was all very relaxing.
It was also, to some extent, a lie.
This world, like the others, was not real; that much was evident from the way it looped around on itself. They were, beyond a shadow of a doubt, still in the dream world. Which meant, if the previous iterations were anything to judge by, there was a keyhole hidden around here somewhere.
Problem was, he didn't even know where to start looking, so he had to look everywhere, and even a small world has a lot of everywheres.
[Feel free to pick your own location, guys. Like I said, I know nothing about this world other than PONIES.]

He had hoped Soma had a good reason for this.

Let him make of the implication that part of Dracula's soul is also in there what he will. Soma sighed, and held up a forehoof to forestall any further backtreading. "I'm not about to attack you, or anyone else. This was a literal life-or-death situation, and I didn't have any other choice in the matter. Self defense, I swear."

"...Killing Death can have serious consequence,"
one world from his expansive universe could tell you that from experience.Emizel sort of did a half circle around him, still feeling all too wary about the whole thing. Killing Death was usually something that couldn't be done so easily either. He might've been skeptic to believe Soma had done such a thing if it weren't for that huge display he made from he first arrived. If he really was on about the same level as him, then it maybe was possible."Why do you want me to see it?" aside from apparently being about to recognize it. Something was a little bit off.

Serious consequences? Heh. "I'm pretty sure my world has other Reapers. This one had been a rogue for a long, long time, and I'm in no way certain he's actually dead; I just absorbed a portion of his soul when he made his exit."
Why indeed? Soma wasn't actually quite sure, aside from maybe figuring out if he could expect some of the aforementioned consequences. "Well, for one, I was hoping I could pass it off to you. It may not seem like it, but I'm not exactly happy to be a walking one-man demon army."

"To me?" he was a little intrigued, except he wasn't even sure what to do with it. Having the soul of another Death seemed rather....weird, unsettling. If it did grant power, would it still count as cheating.
"What does it do?" Emizel was getting closer to Soma again, trying as if he could check the soul despite being a pony, and without touching him. Pretty much the same as a bunny lured by a carrot.

Okay, Emizel, now you're making Soma a bit uncomfortable. What is personal space?

"I-I see," Emizel backed away. He wasn't even sure what to say anymore anyway.
"...I suppose I can take a look at it."

Soma resisted the urge to reach out and ruffle Emi's mane for the nth time. Something about him screamed kid brother, and Soma (who had never had one) was just as thrown off as Emi was, even if he had somewhat more aplomb.
"Great. Uh, meet me on the Mother of Invention in the training room, say tomorrow? It should be big enough, and the walls are metal so there shouldn't be a problem with collateral damage."
no subject
"Y-yeah, I can do that."
...Precisely what did Emizel just signed himself up for really, he's a little uncertain.
