Horns to the left of me, wings to the right.
Who: The pony princesses and those who would accept their training.
What: The training offered by the pony princesses to those who would accept it.
Where: Ponyville, the Town Square.
When: A couple of days after their welcoming message.
Warnings: Possible comedic violence and mild language. Possibly some pegasus just won't know what went wrong.
Ponyville Town Square, the right side as you face town hall:
Above this half of the town square, a couple dozen clouds floated peacefully in the sky. They ranged the gamut from a friendly, puffy white to an angry, solemn grey that threatened but didn't deliver thunder and rain in awesome amounts. Somepony had clearly cordoned off the ground below with acquired fences, benches, and other makeshift barricades to keep innocentRarities ponies from wandering into the training field and getting soaked, hailed on, lightning-bolted, blown away, or generally harassed by wind.
Princess Luna awaited those pegasi who have come for lessons in weather control.
Ponyville Town Square, the left side as you face town hall:
Dozens of random objects festooned the area around here, lined up in order of weight -- from feathers, pebbles, and quill pens to a heavy statue and a bathtub. Princess Celestia waited at the front of this 'line', such as it was, for those unicorns who signed on for her basic training program. Though she hoped that at least some will prove adept pupils at telekinesis and might be able to move on to other lessons, she has provided nothing else yet; after all, to best challenge a unicorn, you must find spells that lie within their talents.

Barkley trotted back with Lela and Fluffy. His Person was named Xion, and if they were all really good, she might give them a treat when she looked human again. What were their Persons like?
Xion couldn't pet any of the Spirits in her current form, but she could smile and say hello them. She may have also leaned down to offer Lela a chance for nuzzles.
Those greetings finished, she walked over to join the other ponies. "Thanks, it looks like it'll be fun to watch." At Carolina's warning, she tilted her head in thought. "Who's that one? I don't know what everyone looks like as a Pony yet...Oh, I'm Xion."
Might as well clear that up now.

"Let me guess...York?" She was referring to Carolina's comment about the pegasus... and the description sounded like it could match. Especially if he was failing at flying around...it fit.
She smiled when Xion explained who she was. "Carolina, this is the girl York ran away from in order to win their Struggle match. Xion, this is Agent Carolina." She paused, pointing to herself. "And this is Ziva."

Mostly.
Lela was never one to turn down hugs, and nuzzles seemed close enough in her book, making a point to weave between Xion's legs before she trotted back towards Ziva and Carolina, likely leaving the scent of berries in her wake. Carolina inclined her head slightly when Ziva introduced them, and her ears picked forwards when a certain tidbit of information was included. "Is that so?" She smiled slightly. "Ziva told me about what happened. By the sounds of it, a rematch would be interesting to watch."

Walking with a cat twining between her legs was a challenge, but Xion managed it without falling. Even if she hadn't, Lela was hard to be mad at.
Mentioning her own name turned out to be a good idea--it meant introductions all around. Ziva she'd met before, but not Carolina. "Agent" meant Carolina was probably friends with North, York, and Wash. Which would explain her firsthand experience with York's flying.
Before Xion could confirm this, though, Ziva mentioned the struggle match. "We talked about sparring sometime, just haven't had a chance yet."
There hadn't been any more Struggle matches, either.
