Throwing Oneself a Welcome Party
Who? Fate, and anyone she would be able to convince to come!
What? Getting the newbies together, plus some vets to jump start cooperation.
Where? A cafe in First District
When? Evening
Warnings? Jeeze, I hope not.
Fate waited nervously at the cafe. She had posted a message on her comm, announcing that other newcomers and the veterans that would like to welcome them should come. Yet, other then convincing the cafe owner to let her pay back any orders, there wasn't any organizing she could do!
She paced in her combat outfit. She hadn't had time to get new clothes. She worried that her somewhat threatening outfit would intimidate or insult one of the others. If any came. Fate had a lot of things to worry about. In the rafters rested Alph, her Komory Bat. At least she didn't have to worry about him and Bardiche making another scene.

After his person sat, Fluffy noticed the bat in the rafters, and flew up to say Hi, a friendly wave of a wing accompanying the greeting. Ziva just watched as he did so, taking a drink of the coffee and handing one of the treats to Ducky, who was now sitting in the chair beside her.
Now, she would wait and see who showed up...and answer any questions she might be able to.

Putting on her best smile she quickly (but not to quickly, no need to scare anybody!) over to Ziva.
"Hello! I'm Fate, I organized all this. I'm glad you could make it-"
Fate, noticing the new Komory and Ducky, bent down petted the Dream Eater. "-and that you could bring your friends!"
Sorry this took forever...and that's it's short. :(
"My name is Ziva. This is Ducky." A point upwards. "That is Fluffy."

"I suppose having so many means you have been here for some time."

This was all going to take some time to take in, but Bruce was trying, at least, and as he walked towards the cafe with the Meow Wow in tow (Bruce wasn't quite ready to think of it as his yet, even though all evidence pointed it to him and it never stopped following him anywhere) he glanced around, reminding himself that 1) nobody seemed to know who he was besides Tony and 2) he had to keep his cool and not freak out no matter what strange things this world threw at him. He was doing a good job of that so far, and Bruce hoped it would stay that way.

"Mr. Banner, I'm so glad you could make it. Feel free to get refreshments." She gestures to where a moogle was working to keep everyone's thirst and hunger from getting in the way.
"I hope you didn't have any trouble getting here."
no subject
"Not too much, fortunately." It wasn't all that hard to figure out where to go once he got started. The place was surprisingly easy to navigate around. "It's nice to see you again, Miss Fate."
no subject
"It is very good to meet you in person. I have to admit, communicating through these" she gestures to her comm "doesn't capture the spirit of talking face to face."
She looked the man over, trying to figure something out. "I wonder... why us? Why were we chosen?"
no subject
"I'll be fine, don't worry about me," he assured her with another smile, and then he tilted his head slightly at her change of topic, blinking again before he frowned slightly. "Chosen... as in why we were brought here?" Bruce wasn't really concerned with that so much as the logistics of why they were here - or rather, what this entailed for the other guy, but that was something Bruce didn't want to think about just yet.

"Good day," she said, by way of a greeting.

She was very, very pretty. Fate quite badly wanted to stroke her mane.
Shaking herself from her embarrassing surprise, Fate managed a reply. "H-hello, I'm Fate. I, uh, I've never met a a talking... uh, I've never met an alien before. Ah! Not that your Alien, or strange!"
Fate blushed, hoping the being didn't mind her faux pas.

She gave a decent curtsy and said "The pleasure is all mine, your majesty. Please, feel free to order anything you would like from the cafe. So is everyone a pony where you are from?"
Fate tried to keep herself from deluging the royal with her questions.
no subject
"Not everypony in Equestria is, in fact, a pony. We have many other residents -- donkeys, zebras, griffons, even a baby dragon. But for the most part, my subjects are indeed ponies."
She wouldn't mind more questions; in fact, to judge by her patient smile, she expected many more.

The Dream Eaters with him today were Mako Jr and Ganseki, his hebby rep and escarglow respectively. Ganseki was currently hiding in his shell by Bolin's feet and, as usual, Mako Jr was draped over his shoulders like a scarf. Bolin finished the noodles currently in his mouth and held up a hand, "Hey Celestia!"

When she entered the room, she took just a moment to scan it, then ordered herself a mocha and brought it to the table. "I hope there's a spot for me."
no subject
"Oh, yes there is plenty room for everyone. I hope. Anyway, I'm Fate! Thank you for coming!"

"Is that a uniform?" Fate wished she had her own black Enforcer uniform- or any clothing not made for sleeping or battle!

Her bat was fluttering overhead, scolding her a bit before deciding to try landing on her shoulder. Just to keep a closer eye on his person. Six couldn't help an exasperated sigh at that, but she didn't bother pushing it off...

"Oh, sorry! Sorry! Alph gets like that sometimes. Your- Noble Six, right?"

"I'm glad you could come. I thought you might be too busy checking up with comrades in the- UNSC?" Fate was pretty sure that was right.
