Open log
Characters: Epsilon and whoever (Open for either rescuing him or running into him once he's gotten to safer ground.
Content: Epsilon trying to keep a relatively low profile like he's been doing since getting back, and failing. AKA fighting nightmares. Beware of potential for ricocheting bullets if he pulls out a gun.
Location: Twilight Town
Time: Whenever
Warnings: Epsilon being Epsilon
Epsilon knew he probably shouldn't have gone out on his own into the town in case of trouble. But he did have Allison with him. She could protect him if he needed it. As they headed in further into town, Epsilon couldn't help a brief thought of amusement at the sight of the cat nightmares. Overall, Allison was bound and determined to handle things, but Epsilon knew she was only one dream eater. He probably needed to look into fixing that. It's not like he didn't have enough fragments, especially with that bet he won.
His thoughts were making his attention to his surroundings slip, especially a bad thing when he gets himself clipped from behind by a spell while he focused on Allison's fight. That wasn't pleasant, but he didn't get damaged too badly. Things were starting to get hectic, and the pricklemane didn't seem to care. "Allison, come on. We need to get moving."

It had heard something and squirmed out of his arms to go see what it was. It could be a new friend or a new adventure, and the Bunny wanted to be a part of it. It was all Roxas could do to keep up.
The bunny came across Nightmares of course, when Roxas finally caught up and grabbed her again. He looked at the Nightmares, debating if he wanted to fight or run off. There was a guy in armour fighting them, and he hadn't had the best experience with the last two he'd encountered. But it was two against a bunch, and Bouncer was already charging in for a Meow Wounce.
With a sigh, Roxas let go of Sparkle and summoned his keyblades.
With a cry, he charged in.

He couldn't aim for shit, so another friendly meant he's kind of limited, unless he wanted to risk friendly fire again. Instead, he pulled the knife he'd only had a few lessons with out, swiping at a dream eater that got too close, leaving the gun away. He's hit his own dream eater in the past. No way was he risking hitting a person. It was easier to stop himself from hitting friendlies with the knife. "Thanks. I'm not exactly good at fighting, and she was too eager."
Finally, Allison realized what was going on to start pulling back closer to Epsilon. The new arrivals were more than enough to help there.

Bouncer trotted over, offering a few cure spells, while Sparkle used magic in Roxas's stead.

But thoughts like that really should wait until later, he realized as he took a hit the the leg that did some damage.
The numbers of enemies were going down, fortunately.

"Just a few more!" Roxas shouted, turning to face Epsilon and whack a sheep in the face.
"Look out!"

Yeah, he really needed to work on that. Even with that weapon, he tended to miss. "Fuck."
At least Allison saw that, moving to charge that nightmare. She was angry.

He's glad he stepped in, since this guy seemed to have a lot to learn about fighting. Especially if he was missing with a knife.
"You okay now?"
no subject
Allison was handling herself well, but the help was appreciated.

"Sorry, I don't have a potion on me, and I haven't really figured magic out yet."
He still needed to relearn the skill, or see if he still had it. Doing that in a crowded area seemed like a bad idea though.

Epsilon tested the damaged joint. He'd have a limp, but in time he can figure out a way to get it fixed. He could stick to safer ares until he managed proper repairs. "Not sure that it'd help with this body anyway. I'm not human. The body is a robotic one, if you know what that means. First time I've really been damaged since arriving here. It might be a good idea to get someplace safe before we encounter any more nightmares."
no subject
Roxas tilted his head to the side.
"You're a robot?" He'd seen them in movies, or at least thought he had. It was hard to tell what was real or not in his mind, or who's it as. But now wasn't the time to think about that.
"That's really weird. But, I'm staying not too far from here, if that's easiest. It might be a bit tough to get back to Traverse Town."

"Is there someone you can ask about it? I don't really know anyone who'd be able to help."
Pence might, but then Roxas remembers that the Pence he knew wasn't real. He shakes his head, getting away from that thought.

Epsilon thought it over, nodding. "I'll have to talk to my brothers about this. Their hosts would help. They're familiar enough with this technology."
no subject
"Well, it's good there's someone here that can help," he finally managed, shaking his head.
"What did you mean by all that stuff?"
no subject
no subject
"That's really weird," he said, practically a mutter. "So why don't you have a host?"
no subject
no subject
"That...sorry."
no subject
no subject
"That's not good."

And that didn't seem right to Roxas.

"Yeah, I guess there is."
