Unfortunately for Namine, a trick she'd hit on at the beginning of her magic lessons was focusing by imagining the spell's intended effects. This was fine with, say, Cure or Reflect (which Ienzo had taught her, she'd just forgotten to mention it). It wasn't as good for something like Fire. Such things, though, were indeed a discussion for another time.

Namine's expression brightened. "You don't mind? That would help." Even if they don't work through her issues, just having someone to practice with would be welcome.
