North had managed to wander around most of the first district, getting a good sense of the area, and he wasn't surprised to find himself back at the stairs. And it looked like someone else had arrived during his walkabout. Maybe it was time to pay it forward. Hopefully the kid wouldn't be too frightened of a guy in armour suddenly showing up and talking to him.

He walked down a few steps before his pricklemane leapt to meet the new spirit.
