Jeeves watched the paper in fascination as the symbols appeared as if they were penned with some form of invisible ink and being revealed with the application of lemon juice. When the process was complete, Jeeves squinted down at the page. "My apologies, miss," he said, "I speak a wide variety of languages, but Japanese is not among them." At least he recognized it.
