Soma did not have one of the items, but he did have supernaturally sharp senses (especially hearing, when in bat form), and he figured he'd offer them to the group.

Of course, there was only one person present who actually knew what he was, so... turning into a bat might not be the best of options. But he'd made peace with what he was, now, and it was time to stop hiding.

He wandered into the greenhouse, nodding to the people he'd met already (that would be the ones from the Meta fight and Emizel, so far). He didn't have anything to say just yet, but he was there and that's what counts, right?
