All three of the figures standing below looked up when they noticed movement, going into fight mode, like always. But, the other bat recognized his friend first, and squeaked a greeting, then another, causing Ziva to stop. He's where? Ok! If he wasn't launching off to fight, it wasn't a threat...for now.
